Eyrir Invest’s Annual General Meeting was held on 10 May 2023. The following candidates were elected to the Board of Directors:

Friðrik Jóhannsson
Hrund Gunnsteinsdóttir
Ólafur Steinn Guðmundsson
Stefán Árni Auðólfsson
Elín Sigfúsdóttir and Friðrik Jóhannsson are new Board members, while Hrund Gunnsteinsdóttir, Ólafur Steinn Guðmundsson, and Stefán Árni Auðólfsson were re-elected.
Friðrik Jóhannsson was elected Chairman of the Board. Friðrik has 40 years of experience in the financial sector, and has managed companies in asset management, insurance, investments, and investment banking.
Elín has over 30 years of experience in finance and banking, has served as an executive director for the corporate banking division Búnaðarbanki Íslands and Landsbankinn and later as the CEO of Landsbanki.
After heading Eyrir Invest for 23 years, Thordur Magnusson decided not to seek re-election to the Board of Directors. Kristín Pétursdóttir also decided not to seek re-election. The Board of Directors thank Þórður Magnússon and Kristín Pétursdóttir for their valuable contribution to Eyrir Invest.
