Halla Guðrún Jónsdóttir
Halla Guðrún Jónsdóttir has joined Eyrir Invest as Director of Finance and Operations. She replaces Margrét Jónsdóttir who has decided to resign as MD of Finance and Operations.
Halla will be responsible for daily financial activities and closing of Eyrir Invest.
Halla holds an M.Sc degree in Business Administration from the University of Iceland, and a B.Sc degree in International Business from the University of Iceland and Paris School of Business.
Previously, Halla worked at Marel since 2018, most recently leading Marel‘s centralized Financial Accounting and Reporting support function across its offices in Europe. Prior to that, Halla led the local Finance team at Marel in Iceland. In her previous roles, Halla has experience with day-to-day finance management, as well as continuous improvements of finance processes, along with larger restructuring projects.
Halla has started working at Eyrir as of May 2023. As we welcome Halla to Eyrir Invest’s team, we thank Margrét for her valuable contribution to the company through the years.
