Signý Sif Sigurðardóttir will be joining Eyrir Invest as MD of funding. She replaces Sigfús Oddsson who has decided to resign after 10 years as managing director.
Signý has an MS degree in operations research from Columbia University. She has worked at Landsvirkjun for the past six years, lately as company treasurer. As such she was responsible for funding and financial risk management of Landsvirkjun. In addition, Signý pioneered Landsvirkjun’s green bond program, the first of its kind in Iceland.
Signý will be starting her position at the end of August.

New board members at Eyrir Invest
At Eyrir’s AGM Hrund Gunnsteinsdóttir and Stefán Árni Auðólfsson joined Eyrir’s board of directors. Hrund is the is the Managing Director of Festa – centre for sustainability in Iceland. She is also a Managing Partner at the Nordic Circular Hotspot. Stefán Árni is a partner of LMG slf., legal services, practicing mainly in the field of Contracts and Corporate law.
